Social grants are being paid smoothly across the country as normal from 31 March 2017 contrary to the narrative and panic created over the past weeks that grant recipients will not receive their money. From Mtubatuba to Rustenburg, from Khayelitsha to Kabokweni to Soweto, grants recipients are elated that they are receiving their grants as promised by our caring government. Minister Bathabile Dlamini is today visiting pay points around Soweto in Gauteng to monitor processes and interact with beneficiaries while her deputy Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu is in Mpumalanga to do the same.
